Telling the stories others won't
For nearly a decade, Mohammed Sayeed Shaikh has worked at the front line of public-interest journalism in Maharashtra — reporting on crime, corruption and the rights of ordinary citizens. What began as a determination to give voice to the voiceless grew into a registered news institution.
As Director of Aspect Multimedia Pvt. Ltd., he founded and leads Dainik Fight Against Criminal (FAC News), a title trusted by readers who look for reporting that does not flinch. His journalism has been recognised by human rights councils, press associations and community bodies across India.

From the field and the felicitations

I believe the press exists to serve the public, not the powerful. Every report I publish begins with a simple test: does this help ordinary people understand what affects their lives, their safety and their rights?
Through Dainik Fight Against Criminal, I have worked to give a platform to stories that are often ignored — cases of injustice, the concerns of everyday citizens, and the actions of those who would rather not be reported on. It is not always comfortable work, but it is necessary work.
My commitment is to report honestly, verify carefully, and never trade the truth for convenience. That is the standard I hold myself to, every single day.

From the courtroom to the community, my reporting spans the issues that shape public life in Maharashtra and beyond.
