Mohammed Sayeed Shaikh — known across the press as MS Shaikh — is a Mumbai-based journalist, editor and publisher who has spent close to a decade reporting on crime, corruption, human rights and civic accountability in Maharashtra.
In 2016 he founded Dainik Fight Against Criminal, published under the masthead FAC News: a title registered with the Registrar of Newspapers for India under RNI No. MAHHIN/2016/71734 and issued in print and online in Hindi and English. He is Director of its publisher, Aspect Multimedia Pvt. Ltd., and continues to edit the paper from its office in Andheri West, Mumbai.
His work has been recognised with more than 28 awards and appreciations from human rights councils, press associations, foundations and community bodies across India, among them the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar National Contribution Award and Corona Warrior honours for humanitarian service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
